Alcaston picks up Canadian gold properties

GLOBE trotting Australian explorer Alcaston Mining has acquired two gold prospective properties covering 109sqkm of the Birch-Uchi greenstone belt in northwestern Ontaria, Canada.

The Blondin gold project lies 190km southwest of Placer Dome's 3.3 million ounce Musselwhite mine and is on a formation that is similar in appearance to that hosting Musselwhite.
