DRILLING at the Sandpiper deposit will commence on August 19 to test high-grade mineralisation.

MiningNews.Net

A joint venture between Glengarry Resources NL (52%) and Tanami Gold NL (48%), the Sandpiper deposit is part of the Larranganni project, located south-west of Halls Creek in Western Australia.

The drilling program will comprise two RC holes for a total of about 650m.

Previous drilling at Sandpiper has returned intersections of up to 50m grading at 5.5 grams per tonne of gold from 170m (150m vertical). The drilling will probe the deeps from 150-250m vertical.

Results are expected by the end of September.
