INSIDER trading is particularly rife among executive and directors of junior resources companies, according to an analysis of on-market trades just released by the Australian National University.

The ANU is concerned insider trading is rife.

The study, led by Dr Dean Katselas, tracked 50,000 directors' trades made after good and bad news announcements over a 10-year period from 2005.
