PANAUST has reported a net loss of $US389,000 ($A453,000) for the first half of 2008, however the copper-gold company expects cash flow to “rise dramatically” during the second half of the year as production at the flagship Phu Kham operation in Laos ramps up.

The Brisbane-based company reported revenue from sales of $38.4 million for the half year, which included one month of copper-gold sales, up from $12.2 million in the first half last year.
