Major Chinese miner trying to muscle-in on AVZ's Manono

THE partner of Robert Friedland's Ivanhoe Mines at the outstanding Kamoa-Kakula copper development in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chinese multinational miner Zijin, is in a battle with ASX-listed AVZ Minerals for a stake in the massive Manono lithium project.
