Kingsgate has big win with political insurers

KINGSGATE Consolidated has won A$82 million from its political risk insurers in relation to the Chatree mine case in Thailand, with the incoming funds to pay out corporate debt of $22 million owed to Investec and provide liquidity for the ASX-listed company to continue its much bigger TAFTA claim against the Thai government.
