Decipher and K2Fly - technology and governance in tailings storage facilities

It's a partnership solving one of the mining industry's biggest challenges

ASX-listed K2Fly and Perth-based Decipher have teamed up to provide the mining industry a cloud monitoring platform which is changing the way the resources sector monitors tailings storage facilities.

Last year a failure at a tailings storage facility in Brazil shocked the world and showed a need for the industry to take a new approach to the governance and monitoring in the TSF space.

Industry best practice and legislation reforms require an independent technical review board (ITRB) be assigned for each TSF to ensure proper governance and compliance.

This new offering from Perth-based Decipher and K2Fly through their partnership provides the technology necessary to manage risks and maintain governance standards.

In this podcast Aspermont senior journalist Paul Hunt speaks to Decipher chief executive officer Anthony Walker and K2Fly chief commercial officer Nic Pollock.
