A well-funded listed mining group, who are recommencing operations at their flagship industrial minerals project in Queensland, currently seeks a Process Manager to join their site leadership team.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the effective & efficient restart of the process plant at this high grade industrial minerals project. Production is on target by November 2018 with wet commissioning already underway. Key to your success will be your ability to:
- Recruitment & leadership of the process team
- Optimisation & debottlenecking
- Continuous improvement & capital projects
- Budgeting & reporting
- Management of the site laboratory
- Fixed plant maintenance & reliability
- Ensuring highest standards of HSEC
This permanent role will work Monday to Friday on a residential basis in a vibrant township in South-East Queensland, within a 2-3 hour drive of the major coastal centres of Seventeen Seventy, Bundaberg and Hervey Bay. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will enjoy extensive autonomy and an attractive remuneration package including lucrative salary and vehicle.
As the ideal candidate, you will be proven process management professional with a successful track record in the leadership of mineral processing plants. Extensive knowledge of magnetic separation, cyclones & spirals along with mineral or industrial sands experience will be greatly advantageous. Your process leadership experience will be supported by your tertiary qualifications in metallurgy or engineering, or trade certification.
