New Aussie gold major to target North America expansion

THE merged of Northern Star Resources and Saracen Mineral Holdings will wait for the dust to settle and anticipated re-rating of the nominal A$16 billion company to occur - but probably not for the "beachhead" Pogo operation in Alaska to hit its targeted 300,000ozpa - before seeking to add scale its "third production centre in North America".
