Hawthorn aims to kick a goal by selling gold to Saracen

GOLD miner Saracen Mineral Holdings is to withdraw A$13.5 million in cash from its big bank account and hand it over to junior Hawthorn Resources for 207,000 ounces of gold resources near its Carosue Dam project south of Laverton in Western Australia.

Resources on mining leases comprise 130,000 ounces at Box Well and 77,000oz at Hawthorn's 80%-held Deep South deposit with Alacer Gold Corporation (20%).   In total there are 18 tenements and leases...
