THERE is movement in the Argentinian lithium brine space with Argosy Minerals moving to expand its holding over the Rincon project, while elsewhere in the Salta Province PepinNini has elected to drop an option over an additional area.

Argosy, which commissioned its Rincon pilot plant in April, has secured three "strategic and highly prospective tenements" from a number of local vendors that cover 209.5 hectares, taking its total holding to almost 2800 Ha.
 
Mina Jujuy and Mina San Marcos adjoin the company's Mina Tincal tenement, and will be joined into a single mining group for the purposes of regulatory applications.
 
Mina San Marcos also includes an additional 12 Ha mining easement located nearby the tenement within the Salar del Rincon.
 
It will pay just US$538,702 for the areas.
