Spitfire has chance to fly with Excelsior deal

THE John Young-Neil Biddle duo have pulled off another M&A deal, this time being key players in a logical-looking merger between their Spitfire Materials and fellow north Kalgoorlie-focused gold company Excelsior Gold.

The merged company - to be owned 58.3% by Spitfire - will hold more than 2 million ounces of resources, with a prefeasibility study to be kicked-off on a "substantial new WA production hub near Kalgoorlie"....
