Harmony and Newcrest join forces in PNG

HARMONY Gold and Newcrest Mining - the second largest gold producer in the world and the biggest Australian gold miner - have entered a joint venture agreement that allows Newcrest to earn a 50% interest in Harmony's Papua New Guinea assets.
