Resolute's flagship Syama operation set to start hitting straps in fiscal 2019.

While that only equates to slightly more than 284,000oz at $1051/oz in the recently completed financial year, it will feature production from the big new underground operation taking shape at Resolute's flagship Syama operation in Mali.

The significance of that is Resolute CEO John Welborn told MNN earlier this month he has been saying for two years that successful delivery of Syama provides the company with the opportunity to do "value accretive" M&A.
