Forrest's FMG targeting 'nation-building, green steel' production

IRON ore baron Dr Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest has had a crack at the market’s valuation of Tesla and Elon Musk’s negative views on hydrogen while claiming the future potential production of “green” steel in Australia is a “nation-building” opportunity that could ultimately create hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Speaking for the ABC's first Boyer Lecture for 2021, Forrest said Fortescue Metals Group was investigating two methods of producing steel without coal and was aiming to build a pilot plant this year
