Is "high-grading" bad? That depends on what you really want!

IN THE article “Rocky road ahead for North American gold miners” in MiningNews.net on January 7, 2016, it is reported that Canada’s Cipher Research group, reviewing the state of the gold mining sector in North America, said that there is “evidence that operations were being ‘high-graded’, which would only lead to trouble later”.
