Trafalgar said results from its work "validate the importance of the intrusive contact as an exploration target and now significantly enhance the prospect with the potential for multiple parallel high-grade gold veins".

Further assays are awaited.

Flynn said it was looking to expand the current drill program and considering options to add additional rigs.

Drilling is also planned to test new targets at Blinding, Link Zone and Kensington.

Flynn recently celebrated its first year as a publicly listed company having raised A$10 million in a mid-2021 IPO that issued new shares priced at 20c each.

The company, which is also exploring gold-lithium ground in Western Australia, is led by the experienced Sam Garrett, ex-Phelps Dodge and Cyprus Gold among others.

Flynn started the June quarter with $6.4 million.

Shares in Flynn were up 55% to 15.5c in late trade, capitalising the company at about $15 million.
