Fosterville produced 77,462 ounces of gold in the June quarter, in line with the March quarter, including a record last month of 31,710oz.
High grade and recoveries were to thank for June's result, with a head grade of 30.4 grams per tonne and recoveries of 97.5% against the quarter's average of 20.6gpt and 96.2%.
Mining increased in the Eagle Zone, which is close to the contact with the Swan Zone.
The high-grade Swan Zone has a reserve of 1.16 million ounces at 61.2gpt gold, and a small amount of development ore processed from the zone during the quarter returned higher-than-expected grades.
First-half production at Fosterville was 141,305oz, putting the company on track to meet full-year guidance of 260,000-300,000oz.
