Doray boosts forecast by 30%

DORAY Minerals has stacked on the weight, adding 30% to its forecast gold production for the next 12 months, to between 80,000-85,000 ounces, yet more proof that the Western Australian gold producer has finally tamed the troublesome Deflector copper-gold resource.

Doray will produce 30% more gold next year.

Copper production is expected to be 2250-2750 tonnes.
 
In addition to boosting the production for this year, set to end this month, it is seeking falling all-in sustaining costs, down from A$1250-1350 an ounce to $1050-1150/oz.
 
The company said the materially higher production boost based on the mine plan was entirely from better than expected performance of quality recent high-grade discoveries within the mine footprint, and did not contain any upside from the emerging Da Vinci lodes.
 
The cost improvements come from a simplified mine plan that allows simultaneous access to the increased ounces per vertical metre.
