Cobalt Blue axes Thackaringa JV option

COBALT Blue has been unable to convince partner Broken Hill Prospecting to allow it to spend additional time completing the complex bankable feasibility study for the Thackaringa cobalt deposit in New South Wales, and has decided to sit at 70% rather than trying to compress the BFS into a year.

The junior will now opt out of funding the BFS to earn an additional 15% because it says BPL's insistence it stick to the letter of the original earn-in agreement would significantly impair the project...
