Copper needs 'freakishly large' investment: Henry

THE copper sector needs “freakishly large” capital investment over the coming two decades if the sector is to satisfy forecast demand growth from energy transition technologies and the growth in the global population, BHP chief executive Mike Henry told delegates at the BofA Securities 2023 Global Metals, Mining and Steel Conference in Barcelona, Spain.
