Friedland says ESG will change the way metals are priced

IVANHOE Mines founder and executive chairman Robert Friedland says the carbon footprint of copper production will eventually be priced into copper, enabling buyers to better evaluate how much the metal contributes to the environmental impact of their products, which will become increasingly important in product categories such as electric vehicles.
