IT IS one of the biggest challenges facing mining: how to get out its story in a battlefield dominated by social media-wielding anti-mining activists? That was a challenge the Future of Mining Australia 2019 conference took on with its pitch battle.

The winning pitcher, Eardrum's Dustin Lane

It gathered three media agencies: Prospero Productions, Eardrum and Jack Morton Worldwide to provide alternative ways of positively impacting the image of mining.
