Browns Range is coming back

NORTHERN Minerals is getting ready to fire back up its Browns Range rare earths pilot plant in Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region following the lifting of Australia’s biosecurity restrictions, which were put in place to halt the spread of COVID-19 into remote Aboriginal communities in late March.

It will only be a partial restart, requiring around 75% of the previous staffing numbers, with the junior warning some redundancies are likely, although it will try to redeploy as many workers as possible....
