Spodumene price falls further

MINERAL Resources has reported a further fall in the price it receives for 6% spodumene produced from the Mt Marion lithium mine in Western Australia’s Goldfields.

The company said the sale price for the December quarter would be just US$520.92 per dry metric tonne CIF China, down from $608.95/t in the September quarter.

MinRes was receiving $1070.
