Strong Lynas operational quarter in volatile market

RARE earths producer Lynas Corp has delivered a record operational quarter from its integrated operations, with the 1447 tonnes of NdPr output slightly below the 1500t targeted after “external water supply issues” in Malaysia in May.

 The Amanda Lacaze-led Lynas asserted its market position in the June quarter by holding inventory rather than selling into a volatile market and receiving lower than acceptable pricing.
