Sari looks pretty good to Oklo

OKLO Resources claims to have confirmed the Sari discovery east of its flaghip Dandoko project in west Mali.

Oklo has been drilling in Mali for years

Oklo has been drilling in Mali for years

Drill has hit mineralisation in fresh rock including 7m at 2.6 grams per tonne from 42m, with all intersections made at the northern end of a 2.4km auger gold-arsenic geochemical anomaly along the western margin of a prominent radiometric feature interpreted as an intrusive.

Sari is 10km from the 670,000 ounce Seko resource at Dandoko, while a "comparable" target (to Sari) called Kossaya is to be drill tested in the near term.

Seko's geology is seen as similar to other large gold systems in the region, including B2 Gold's Fekola deposit 30km to the west and the Yalea/Gounkoto deposits within Barrick Gold's 18 million ounce Loulo/Gounkoto complex about 50km to the northwest.

Oklo started the current quarter with A$11 million cash.

Shares in Oklo were down 4% to 12.5c in morning trade, capitalising the company at $63 million.

The explorer has struggled to garner much market attention over the past year, with the stock at levels around 30c 12 months ago.
