Horan is 1.5km from Farr-Jones and is described as a similar gold-in-soil anomaly, with the latter yielding a drill hit of 3m at 17.8 grams per tonne.
Gold mineralisation at Farr-Jones is said to extend over 150m of dip, with grade increasing with depth and an 800m long soil anomaly indicating "potential for significant strike length".
Riversgold pointed out Farr-Jones is 15km northeast of Silver Lakes Resources' Randalls processing plant.
Further drilling of Farr-Jones is planned once the rig finished work probing the Cutler prospect next door.
Riversgold has a portfolio of gold exploration projects within the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, the Tintina Gold Belt in southwest Alaska, USA, and the Gawler Craton of South Australia.
