COPPER miner Aeris Resources saw its cash and receivables fall substantially at the end of the September quarter, down A$12.1 million to $14.5 million, with the company blaming the timing of shipments for lower sales from its Tritton and Murrawombie underground mines.

Aeris production was ahead of plan.

The good news for the New South Wales producer is that its Tritton operations produced ahead of plan at 6835 tonnes with C1 cash costs below guidance at $2.
