Some big news expected this month is the first gold pour at Gold Road Resources and Gold Fields' A$624 million Gruyere project.

Gold Road confirmed last week the milestone was close and on track before the end of the month.

After a tumultuous 18 months, Eastern Goldfields shareholders will meet this week to vote on a recapitalisation plan after the company officially came out of administration last Tuesday.

If approved, it could see the company resume trading later this month under the new name Ora Banda Mining.

Dacian Gold called a trading halt regarding a production update.

Given the collapse of Gascoyne Resources this morning and other WA gold disappointments, investors would be right to be nervous.

In potash, Kalium Lakes is due to make a final investment decision this month for its Beyondie project.

The company is aiming to produce Australia's first sulphate of potash next year.

OZ Minerals should have some updates on its Brazilian assets.

Targeted for release before the end of this month are the Antas resource and reserve update and 2019 guidance, the Pedra Branca resource update, and CentroGold prefeasibility study.

Also due to release major studies are Cardinal Resources, for its Namdini project in Ghana, while Orion Minerals is due to release the definitive feasibility study for the Prieska copper-zinc project in South Africa.

South32 is due to release a maiden JORC-compliant resource for its large Hermosa zinc project in Arizona this month.

Hot gold stock Bellevue Gold has flagged a resource upgrade for its already 1.5 million ounce namesake project in Western Australia.

Meanwhile, hot lithium stock Liontown Resources will update its Kathleen Valley resource.

Junior Victorian gold producer AuStar Gold expects to release a maiden resource for its Rose of Denmark mine early this month after resource drilling hit high-grade results like 7.3m at 153.57gpt gold, including 1m at 1110.01gpt gold.

Beacon Minerals is set to start commissioning the mill at its Jaurdi gold project in WA's Goldfields on June 20.

Outside ASX news, there are a number of events this month.

Resources Rising Stars will kick off on the Gold Coast tomorrow, featuring keynote speeches from the likes of Hedley Widdup and Robert Gottliebsen and corporate presentation from Northern Star Resources, Sandfire Resources, Pilbara Minerals and more

In Perth, the AMEC Convention will start on Wednesday with outgoing Minerals Council of Australia chair Dr Vanessa Guthrie delivering the Sir Arvi Parbo oration.

Mining Journal Select in London later this month will feature a bunch of ASX stocks, as well as keynotes from speakers like Robert Friedland and Tom Albanese.
