THE gold patch was the most solid of the mining segments on a day of selling, with a bullion price around US$1310/oz keeping investors relatively interested. Leader for the day Emerald is trying to finance a mine in Cambodia and maybe acquire a pre-development asset in Australia in the form of Capricorn’s Karlawinda.
