Resources feed into market rally

MARKETS spent the morning under water, but rallied after lunch, surging 0.6% in afternoon trade after good news in the Australian jobs data, which showed a 1.4% rise in vacancies in the three months to February 2019, helped by an uptick in mining jobs.
