Nickel fails to excite

NICKEL prices might have turned out one of their best monthly performances in some 20 years overnight, with the metal up some 16% this year amid supply fears linked to Vale in Brazil, but that didn’t translate into a boost for the Aussie nickel cohort with miners Mincor and Western Areas, and near-producer Panoramic Resources, losing between 2-2.7%.
