THE same day it listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, new junior Golden State Mining has announced it has hired diamond and RC drilling contractors for 4000m of drilling at its flagship Cue project in Western Australia to test a new exploration concept.

While some seven million ounces have been pulled out of the Cue region to date, Golden State managing director Michael Moore said there was a major Murchison mystery that needed to be answered: what is are the source and structural controls on mineralisation?
 
The drilling will target a mix of deep and shallow targets within three weeks and will cost around A$800,000 - a big chunk of the $4.56 million raised - and the results could be a game changer.
