Resilient effort by gold patch

THE gold price resumed its hovering around the US$1200 per ounce mark in Asian trade Friday, with most of the bigger stocks in the sector enjoying a solid session. Among the bigger gainers was again Bellevue Gold, which is exploring around an historic high grade mine in Western Australia and which is up around 50% (and through the $100 million capitalisation mark), since attending gold shin-digs in the USA late last month.
