Metro Mining says it has now sold all its planned 2018 bauxite production after announcing a new binding contract with China's state-owned State Power Investment Corporation Aluminium and Electric Power Investment Co.
It said it was looking to increase 2019 production given the demand shown for its Bauxite Hills ore.
Metro said the SPIC contract for 300,000wmt (+/-10%) was based on market pricing with typical bonus and penalty clauses.
