Consolidated Zinc believes it can get its 51%-owned Plomosas lead-zinc-silver mine into production before the end of the year, but it is facing a last minute bid from a third party for a slice of the pie.
 
A company called Pandion Minerals claims to be conditionally entitled to a 10% interest in Plomosas with a free-carry until a definitive feasibility study is completed based on an agreement dating back to 2014. CZL says it has not been shown this letter previously, does not accept its authenticity and considers the claim to be unfounded.
