WHILE some companies did not want to be drawn on price forecasts at this year’s Diggers and Dealers forum in Kalgoorlie, Gold Fields has predicted a long-term price of $US475 per ounce, and Newcrest Mining was a little more bullish, estimating it at $1000/oz.
