Market struggles to find traction

AN UNEVENTFUL day pretty much summed up the performance of the local share market on its first day of trade for the week as it struggled to gain traction after Greek political leaders finalised a historic deal to form a national unity government and overhaul the country’s sovereign debt woes.

The S&P/ASX 200 index finished the day down 0.18% or 7.70 points to 4273.40, while the All Ordinaries followed suit, shedding 7.20 points to 4335.30.
