The green, green grass of home

FURTHER strength in the US market, a giant Greek bailout and positive metal prices have pushed the Australian market higher today, with the All Ordinaries index rising above the 5000 mark for the first time since late 2008.

The All Ords closed at 5011.6 points, up 0.8%, its highest level since the global financial crisis struck. The S&P-ASX 200 also performed well, rising 0.7% to 4984.3 points.
