Harmony sells Croesus stake

CROESUS Mining has managed to shake New Hampton Goldfields off its back after the erstwhile predator's new owner, South Africa's Harmony Gold, sold its 21.5% holding off-market yesterday.

The parcel was reportedly picked up for 28c a share (totalling about $6.5 million) by a group of six mainly Western Australian-based investors friendly to Croesus.

A further 7 million shares, or 6.
