Black Range gets the nod for Syerston

THE New South Wales government has given the go ahead for Black Range Minerals NL to develop its Syerston nickel-cobalt project 400km north-west of Sydney, subject to strict environmental conditions.

The last obstacle now remaining in the way of the second-wave laterite hopeful may prove the most difficult to overcome - funding the $650 million project.
