Persistence and price to revive Ardlethan

WHEN the first concentrate leaves the tin shed at the Ardlethan mine in southern New South Wales in 2001, it will mark the beginning of a new era of tin mining for the Ardlethan district which has lived the industry’s ups and downs for years.

It will also cap what has been a quiet, persistent effort to recommence mining at Ardlethan by junior resources company, Marlborough Resources, run by Sydney-based mining engineer Chris Storey.
