Kalium commits to Beyondie SOP development

AUSTRALIA’S first commercial sulphate of potash project is set to become a reality late next year after the board of Kalium Lakes gave the formal go-ahead for full-scale construction to begin at the A$216 million Beyondie development in Western Australia.

Beyondie is targeted to produce 90,000 tonnes per annum of SOP in its first stage, with the plan being to subsequently increase that to 180,000tpa. Earnings have been put at $126 million per annum....
