ASX-listed Davenport Resources is planning to list in London in the first half of 2019 as part of an accelerating drive to establish its east German assets as the largest unmined potash field in Europe.

Davenport Resources looking to test London market appetite for German potash venture

Senior market sources in London told MNN sister site Mining Journal a London listing is almost a certainty, but at this stage it's unclear whether Davenport will opt for the junior market AIM, or a full quote on the main exchange.

Dr Chris Gilchrist, who has experience developing potash projects for Circum Minerals in Ethiopia and Danakali (formerly South Boulder Mines) in Eritrea as well as managing Cleveland Potash in the UK, refused to confirm or deny the planned move. "We do not comment on speculation in the marketplace, and don't intend to this time," he said.
