A rare opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager for an emerging precious metals project in regional NSW. With impressive results to date, this is a unique chance to lead development and exploration activities on one of New South Wales’ most promising projects.
Reporting to the Exploration Manager, this role will take responsibility for design, supervision and delivery of development and exploration activities on the group’s flagship project.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Supervision of staff, contractors, logistics and support functions
- Planning & execution of resource delineation programs
- QAQC and resource modelling
- Ensuring HSE compliance
- Stakeholder management
Working in a highly desirable area of NSW, this role is offered on either a residential basis in the Central West of NSW or DIDO from Sydney (or similar). An attractive salary package is provided including incentives, housing and vehicle contribution. Working for this respected and well financed exploration group, you will be provided with extensive autonomy and the opportunity to take leadership for this very promising & highly prospective project.
Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified geologist with a strong track record in hardrock exploration (e.g. 7+ years experience) with demonstrable proficiencies in project & people management. Previous greenfields experience in precious metals and base metals in the Lachlan Fold Belt and resource estimation will be highly regarded.
