To support AMC’s continued growth, we wish to appoint a Principal Mechanical Engineer at our Melbourne office.

Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, this role will lead the mechanical design aspects for feasibility studies of major mining projects. Expertise in conducting materials handling assessments, designing underground and open pit mine infrastructure, specifically conveyors, shafts, hoisting and mine services is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, with significant practical experience in design and installation of underground and open pit mine hard rock infrastructure.

In addition, excellent Microsoft Office and mechanical design software skills are required. Strong communication skills are essential.
