Contractors gain ground


AS the mining world gets back on its feet, contractors are inching their way into the limelight. Today the spotlight was on Macmahon Holdings with speculation that the amendment of an agreement with Leighton Holdings could see Australia's biggest construction company increase its stake in, or make a bid for, the WA-based contractor.
