The company, which has seen initial assays from the first four of six diamond holes, found results that supported the high grade gold intersected in shallow aircore drilling by previous explorers.
The results were 9.5m grading 29.2gpt from 36.7m, including 2.4m at 114.63gpt, and 2.39m at 1.89gpt from 57.06m, the latter being in fresh rock.
Other holes returned 10.95m at 15.1gpt from 24.7m, including 4.75 m at 34.17gpt; and 2.06m at 0.67gpt from 74.4m to end of hole.
The final hole also intersected lower but pervasive gold grades.
Two more assays are awaited from the 629m drilling campaign, including the deepest hole.
