The company has just received assays from a 30-hole RC drilling program, completed last year within its wider 1.67 million tonnes of copper and 430,000 ounces of gold Cloncurry copper project, with promising results from the Companion, Veiled and Quamby copper-gold in soil anomalies.

Companion delivered intercepts including 32 metres at 1.48% copper and 0.98 grams per tonne gold; Veiled had 74m at 0.53% and 0.23gpt; and Quamby gave 13m at 0.61% and 4.23gpt inclusive of 2m at 23.55gpt.

While the drilling was shallow, it intercepted both oxide and sulphide mineralisation.

The gold grades were better than that seen at in the mine plan for Little Eva, and there were high silver values at Quamby and high cobalt values at Veiled.
